Yes! I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and that it is an important part of a therapists job to do their own inner work. I believe in the work I do and I know it is worth it!

My work with clients goes beyond traditional talk therapy. I won’t just sit back and nod or reflect. I encourage clients to go deeper, not just surviving by coping or managing symptoms. That deeper work can be harder and more intense at times, but it can bring long term, lasting change.

I like to build on the work clients have already done, incorporating that into our sessions. We first focus on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. This sets the foundation for whatever work clients choose to step into. We will also focus on building a sense of safety in their body through regulation tools, understanding nervous system, building awareness, and going at a pace that feels right for the client. I also focus with clients on building resources to better manage distress and, if clients choose, stepping into deeper processing to heal past hurts or stuck beliefs and feelings.
